We’re proud to share that our children at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery in High Wycombe recently took part in a very special community initiative. In October, staff and families came together to support One Can, a local charity providing food parcels to families facing challenges due to the rising cost of living.

Our young learners didn’t just donate the items—they helped organise them on the shelves, learning firsthand about generosity, teamwork, and caring for others.

A spokesperson from the nursery shared:
“Many families within our nursery have benefited from One Can, which makes this charity especially significant for us. This was a wonderful opportunity to help our children start understanding the importance of helping those in need.”

This project is just one of the ways we encourage our children to engage with and support the local community. Looking ahead, we hope to take the children to a local nursing home to share some Christmas joy with the residents, weather and health conditions permitting.

We’re delighted to see our efforts highlighted in the Bucks Free Press. You can read the original article here.

At Monkey Puzzle High Wycombe, we’re committed to helping children develop not only academically and socially, but also as compassionate members of our community.
