At Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery and Preschool High Wycombe, we’re thrilled to be part of Little Dreamers, Big Futures – a vibrant summer campaign running across all Monkey Puzzle nurseries from mid-June through to the end of August 2025. This exciting initiative is all about sparking children’s imaginations, nurturing their future aspirations, and showcasing the powerful impact early years education can have on who they grow up to be.

What is Little Dreamers, Big Futures?

This isn’t just a summer of fun – it’s a journey into the world of possibilities. Little Dreamers, Big Futures encourages children to explore their interests, dream big, and start imagining what they might like to be when they grow up, all through hands-on, meaningful learning experiences.

Bringing Dreams to Life at High Wycombe

Here at Monkey Puzzle High Wycombe, we’ve been bringing the campaign to life in exciting and inspiring ways that connect learning to the real world:

• Welcoming Our Local Police Force – The children had an unforgettable visit from our local police officers. They learned about the role of the police in our community, explored the patrol car, and even tried on mini uniforms – sparking conversations about safety, bravery, and helping others.

• Becoming Mini Chefs – In our nursery kitchen, little ones have been busy prepping and cooking their own delicious meals. From mixing and chopping to serving and tasting, our children are discovering the joys of food, teamwork, and responsibility.

• Exploring Real-Life Jobs in the Community – We’ve taken exciting trips to local shops where children observed workers in action — from cashiers and bakers to delivery drivers and retail assistants. These visits helped bring everyday careers to life and taught our little learners about the different roles that keep our world running smoothly.

• “When I Grow Up” Dress-Up Days – Our little dreamers have loved dressing up as doctors, firefighters, dancers, astronauts, and more. These imaginative days give children a chance to step into the shoes of their future selves.

• Dream Boards and Vision Walls – Through art, stories, and role play, children are encouraged to express their ambitions, hopes, and dreams for the future.

• Mini Job Fairs and Career-Themed Activities – From running a pretend café to building mini houses and caring for stuffed animals in our pretend vet clinic, we’re turning play into purpose every day.
