The vast majority of our staff are either NNEB (National Nursery Examination Board) or equivalent, or participating in the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Early Years and Childcare. We have a very high qualified staff ratio which far exceeds that of OFSTED requirements.
I decided to use my expertise and experience to start up the nursery, something I love doing.
I have five grown up children, one fantastic Granddaughter, one dog and I am married to Simon who is also a Director at the nursery.
In my spare time, I am a member of Rotary International and will shortly be District Governor for Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
This involves a lot of charitable work and working with young people to help them maximise their abilities. I am a Worship Leader and Service Leader at our local church, and I sing. In July 2016 I will be cycling from London to Paris to raise money for Action Medical Research, a charity that funds research in to child illnesses. I enjoy travelling, good food, great wine, cycling and sailing.
I have got a passion for creating outstanding child development. I also have a strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to bring out the best in the people around, I like challenges. I am particularly interested in children’s literature and documentary films.
In my spare time I love travelling, sightseeing and dancing. I like being surrounded by people and playing games like Taboo, Mystery Dinners.
